Analysis on "I had been hungry all the years" by Emily Dickinson

The poem I had been hungry both the years by Emily Dickinson explores the characters change of attitude towards pabulum. This poem can be taken literally or metaphorically and I have choose to understand it literally. From the beginning of the poem, the fictional character informs us that she (assuming the use is a girl) has not eaten fully for quite a plot of ground: all the years. However, now it is time for her to eat - at noon. She takes a rather tentative approach to the table mayhap because she is stir that this room that holds the food is too good to be true. stimulate that if she big businessman make a choppy move, this room energy disappear.
